This is Long Beach's first Media Center designed by members of the Long Beach Community Television Producers Association, advisors and supporters.  Long Beach is California's fifth largest city AND the most diverse city in the nation.  
  
Our current team consists of those with current Long Beach Community Television membership status, Board of Directors & Advisors however once our plans are approved, ALL  citizens of Long Beach are welcome to take part in the Media Center's mission.  LBCTproducers represent Latino, Asian, physically and mentally disabled, Vets and we are equipped to handle Spanish, Khmer, French and Sign translation.

Update to this 2009 video: City Council did NOT approve the 80% allocation because The CITY TECH DEPT. failed to come up with an acceptable plan for Cable Access TV. Below is Part I of Long Beach City Council Meeting item #27 concerning PEG Funds from 2009: funding for public access, education and government television. The still is of Council member TONIA REYES URANGE who, along with RAE GABELICH raised Councilmember PATRICK O'DONNELL's request of allocating 50% of funds to 80% for the first year (2009). The entire city council meeting can be viewed at LongBeach.gov 3 1/2 hours into the meeting.
